Development in the China PCB industry is driven by light, thin, small and high density designs. Inevitably, the design for PCB equipment has also got to catch up with automation and precision controls. The raid growth in China’s consumer electronics and automotive electronics in the recent years has posed a strong gain for the PCB sector and thus, stimulating the market demand for high-end PCB equipment. The 2008 Olympics in Beijing will also boost consumer spending on electronic consumer goods such as notebook computers, LCD, TV, iPOD, digital cameras and entertainment related electronic products.
